Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, place, or other term entered into a search feature is sent to the third-party provider that operates that feature. Montgomery County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its receipt and handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the content and contact details needed to answer. We do not disclose a message outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Normal web operations can create technical logs when a page loads. These details help operate the site, diagnose failures, understand traffic, and protect the service. They can include:
- The internet protocol address associated with the request

Ohio agency records are subject to the access rules and exemptions in Ohio Revised Code 149.43 and other applicable law. That public-record framework governs the originating office's records. It does not make this private site's technical logs into Montgomery County public records.
